This August we have a team of Youth & Young Adults who are going on a short-term missions trip to Costa Rica to share the good news of the Gospel with young people. We are partnering with an organization called Inca Link. Their vision is to reach 300 million young peoiple in latin America. They are currently working in 8 countries, including Costa Rica.
To help our team raise the funds needed for this trip, we are doing a variety of fundraisers. Our first event fundraiser will be a Pie Auction head on Sunday, April 14 between the end of our morning service and the start of our AGM.
How can you help? There are two primary ways you can get involved with this. The first is by making a pie (or pies) for the auction and/or for the lunch taking place after the auction. We'll need a good number of pies for the auction, which will see people bid to win the pie(s) of their choosing. We'll also need a good number pies that will be available for a donation by the slice following the auction with the lunch being served in the gym. The second way you can be involved is to bid on pies and/or donate to get a slice of pie with your lunch after the auction.
