Tenebrae is Latin for "darkness or shadows". For hundreds of years, churches have been holding Tenebrae services on Maundy Thursday or Good Friday to remember Jesus' rejection, betrayal, arrest, trial, death, and burial. Our version of the Tenebrae service includes a dramatic reading of the events of Jesus' passion, songs, and video elements that culminate in sharing communion to remember Jesus' death.
