SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED

Our response to the Covid-19 outbreak

In an effort to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus, Provincial health authorities in B.C. have banned all public gatherings involving 250 or more people. However, in response to our calling as a church to care for and protect both those within our church family and those in the community around us – especially those who are most vulnerable to serious harm from this virus – we are suspending all church gatherings that bring people together in groups of 100 or more. In addition to this, we are monitoring the situation, and will make decisions on an evolving basis regarding the many smaller gatherings that take place either weekly or monthly.

Call us for prayer and pastoral care

These are trying times for everyone. Please give us a call if you want to talk to one of our Pastors, or if you have a request for prayer. “Social distancing” doesn’t mean that you have to be alone, or feel alone.

Be the church

The temptation in a crisis like the one that we are all going through is to think about our own needs and to act to protect ourselves. But as followers of Jesus Christ, we belong to a kingdom whose law is that we should always love others as much as we love ourselves. Our call in times of crisis is to see the needs of those around us, and do what we can in love to care for them. We encourage you all to seize this opportunity to bear witness to Christ’s love in your lives by bringing His love with you into the lives of others.
