Dear Sevenoaks Family,

We are writing to share some very good news with you.  On Tuesday, June 29, the Province announced that they will be launching Step 3 of the BC Restart Plan effective July 1.  Under Step 3:

  • We are now permitted to seat up to 300 people at a time for our in-person worship services in the Chapel.
  • The mandatory mask order has been lifted (although the Province recommends that people voluntarily wear a mask while attending indoor public gatherings if they have not received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine).
  • All of the other special restrictions on religious gatherings have been done away with, which means that worshippers are permitted to sing, and that worshippers are permitted to socialize with others both before and after the service

As a result of these changes, we can announce that we will no longer be requiring pre-registration for those who wish to attend our worship services on Sunday mornings, and that it will no longer be necessary for people to choose in advance whether they want to sit on the main floor or sit in the balcony.   Starting this Sunday, you can simply choose the service that you want to attend (at 9:00 or at 11:00), show up at the main door of the Chapel at the appointed time, and then sit wherever you want to (on the main floor or up in the balcony) once you enter the Chapel.

Yours in Christ,

Brian Robertson
