Visiting a church for the first time can be intimitating! We've been there.
You may be checking out our website, trying to decide whether you would like to join us at one of our Sunday gatherings. Welcome here! We've done our best to provide answers to questions that you may have. If you have any further questions, please fill in the form at the bottom and we would be happy to answer.
What can I expect at a church service?
Our Sunday morning services begin at 10:30am. When you enter the facility, you will be greeted by friendly people. After that, you'll make your way into the Worship Center where we gather. The approximately 75 minute service is designed to encourage and inspire you to know Jesus and to make Him known. We sing songs to Jesus together, we are challenged and encouraged by God's Word, we pray, we give...and we hope to leave changed. The first time we gather each month, we remind ourselves of what Jesus did for us by sharing in communion together.
What about my kids?
We've got you covered! During our Sunday morning service your kids will be well cared for by trained adults and youth. Come to the breezeway area up to 15mins. before the service begins to sign them in and be guided to their activities. We provide a supervised nursery for children 0-2yrs old, and a preschool class for children 3-4yrs old. Kids in kindergarten to grade 5 are well taken care of in Sevenoaks Kids, where they'll have fun, learn about Jesus, participate in activities, sing songs, and connect with other kids and their group leaders.
On Communion Sundays which is the first Sunday of every month, children who are kindergarten - grade 5 will attend the worship service with their families. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy communion and a family worship time together. Please visit our children's page for more info.
