Join us this Sunday as we kick off our Week of Prayer. We believe prayer is an everyday activity, it's staying in communication with our Heavenly Father at all times, we are called to remain in Him and He will remain in us - intimacy. We feel that prayer is so important that we begin the new year of 2019 with a heightened focus on prayer.

Jan 20th Sunday Morning- Starting Sunday January 20th we will have a special service of prayer during our Sunday morning service. It will be a time of Scripture reading, silent reflection, and music intertwined throughout the service. This service is a highlight for our church family as we strip away the usual activity and spend a concentrated time together seeking the heart of God and listening for His voice.

Special Prayer Opportunities: Make sure you check the bulletin as there will be special groups of prayer throughout the week. Another core value we believe in is that pursuing intimacy with Jesus influences how we view our world and this means that we inherit Jesus' compassion for our city and world. On a local level there are groups gathering to go on prayer walks through their neighborhoods or around town. Other groups are gathering at the church to pray for our city, county and world. Watch the bulletin for details.

Jan 27th Sunday Night: Then on Sunday January 27th we will be gathering at 6:00pm in the Worship Centre for our Prayer Summit. It's a gathering of our church family of all ages to declare God as our rescuer and provider as we sing and pray together!

Each person is responsible for their relationship with God. No one else can live it for you and no one else can want it for you. Our desire as a church family is to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd leading us, and you can only hear His voice if you are making space to listen. There is no short cut. It requires intimacy.
