Worship is not a once-a-week activity, but rather an ongoing living out
of one's relationship with God. Each day of our lives involves hearing
His voice, enjoying His presence, and living the life that Jesus Christ lives in and through us. This is worship.
When we gather as a community for weekly worship services, we
are expressing in a corporate setting what we live out all week long. This corporate worship involves many things, such as hearing God's Word as it is
spoken and preached, responding in prayer and singing, and encouraging each
other with stories of God's work in our lives.
The arts are a vital part of the worship expression of the Sevenoaks
community. Whether in weekly worship services, seasonal celebrations, or
other ministry events on- and off-site, there are many opportunities for
children, youth and adults to become connected with others who are gifted
in music and other arts, and to use those gifts to minister to others.
