X-Stream
grades four and five
preteens are on their own planet…
they act, think and learn differently…
they need something different!
Every Sunday at 11 am (except the 1st of the month)…join the relaxed and fun (often popcorn-eating) group of pre-teens in Rm 214.
During our time together we have:
• A community time to just hang out listen to music and have something to eat
• An icebreaker game to get preteens interacting
• Clues to get preteens prepared for the lesson
• Group time to read and answer questions on the lesson
• Grapple Prayer and Dare
Weekly emails are sent to parents as a ‘heads-up’ on what lesson will be shared and suggestions on ways to engage and follow-up with your preteen about what’s been taught that week!
missions focus in Rm 214
This is our second year supporting the Martens family as our missionary family as they serve in Mexico City. Andrew & Claudia have two children, Samuel & Bethany.
We will be corresponding with them, sending care packages and fundraising money to help offset their living costs. For example at each X-Stream event, we ask that parents send bottles and cans with your preteens. You can expect to read about other fundraisers through our weekly e-mails.
