C.H.at.S.
Connecting Hearts at Sevenoaks

C.H.at.S is more than a Wednesday morning Bible study where women grab a coffee and head off to class.

C.H.at.S is an "oasis in the week." Women of all ages gather to connect in many meaningful ways. Built on a foundation of learning and living God's word, C.H.at.S offers women a place where they can feel free to share their hearts, build friendships, and support each other in prayer. We offer excellent childcare so that busy moms can relax and enjoy their time. Women gather in small groups for a time of learning, sharing and growing in relationship with Christ. Special group times throughout the year connect all the women for a morning of special speakers, laughter and enjoyment. Prayer, worship and delicious food are always part of our time together.

At C.H.at.S, we believe that we are all extensions of God's love. We envision partnering relationships, within our church, in our community and in the world beyond us. We desire to work together to bless other women and children in need. Last year, we raised funds and supplies for a medical mission in Ethiopia, as well as a single mother of 5 here in Abbotsford. This year we are excited to continue our vision of reaching out.

heart for missions

Come join us and feel welcome at this “Missions” focused group. At Heart for Missions, a wonderful forum is provided for international and home workers to speak on matters related to women and ministry. There is mutual encouragement and fresh inspiration as women of all ages come together to hear and be heard, to give and receive, and to pray and be prayed for. Great music, special features, food and fun add to these great times of connecting with women who have a heart for missions on any level.

Global-focused Heart for Missions meets the second Thursday of every month in the Church gymnasium. Fresh, hot coffee is on at 9:15 am! Come early, meet with new friends, connect with old friends…be challenged!

Heart for Missions runs from September to June. Women are welcome to join at any time.
Meeting date: every 2nd Thursday of the month
Meeting time: 9:30 am

helping hands

Helping Hands is a ministry that shows God’s love in practical and creative ways. It achieves this through the skills of sewing clothes, quilting blankets and knitting toques. All of these beautiful creations are then distributed both locally and globally to bless those in need.

Helping Hands also works hard at preparing postage stamps and Campbells soup labels so that schools can redeem them to acquire special needed items to enhance education.

Come join this group of ladies as you work together to bless others through your willing heart and creative hands. . . .while having fun at the same time!

Helping Hands meets on the 4th Thursday of every month from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm in rooms E101 and E103. Don’t forget to bring your lunch. Fresh coffee and hot tea is always on!
