X-Stream – grades five and six
preteens are on their own planet...
they act, think, and learn differently...
they need something different!

Every Sunday at 11 am (except the 1st of the month)…come 'GRAPPLE' in Rm 214.
Grapple is a curriculum that gets preteens digging into the Bible to relate their faith with real life and find answers to questions they ‘grapple’ with the most. Themes like relationships, faith, and choices.
During our time together we have:
• A community time to just hang out listen to music and have something to eat
• An icebreaker game to get preteens interacting
• Clues to get preteens prepared for the lesson
• A ‘GRAPPLE TIME’…gives preteens the desire to dig into the Bible for answers
• Group time to read and answer questions on the lesson
• Grapple Prayer and Dare
• There's also a 4-week theme 'GRAPPLE VERSE' that ties everything together!
Weekly emails are sent to parents as a ‘heads-up’ on what lesson will be shared and suggestions on ways to engage and follow-up with your preteen about what's been taught that week!
every 5th sunday:
missions focus in Rm 214
This is our second year supporting the Weiss family as our missionary family as they serve in Cambodia. Dean is an administrator at a Christian school, while Lesley is a grade one and music teacher. Their three daughters Stephanie, Julia, and Maya all attend that same school.
We will be corresponding with them, sending care packages and fundraising money to help offset their living costs. For example at each monthly X-Stream event, we ask that parents send bottles and cans with your preteens. You can expect to read about other fundraisers through our weekly e-mails. We will keep you updated as to how much money is raised throughout the year.
Thank you so much for your X-Stream support!
we also have monthly event nights as a time
to bring out friends and connect!
