Middle School Air Force…

Ok, the suspense is probably driving you crazy.

Which team won our first ever Air Force race?

Well…(drumroll please)…

Team Watermelon & Team Da Bombers tied with 35,000 points

Team Dekroon was second with 23,000

Team MNKB was last with 18, 500 points

How should we determine the grand champions?

Traverse Christmas Party

It’s that time again!

Last year we had a great time at Nick & Brenda Rolleman’s. This year Natalie

Rolleman is hosting (upstairs).

A few things to remember/bring:-

1. Christmas treat to share

2. A wrapped Christmas gift - we’re all on a budget so remember to ‘regift’

- find the wierdest, most unique, cheap item you want to get rid of from your

home, wrap it and bring it!

  3. We will be handing out a best (or worst, depending on how you view holiday

garb!) festive outfit.

4. There will be an egg nog drinking contest for all who want to participate.

See you there!

Soul Revolution 2 - Prayer

Hi Guys

Thanks for your comments so far, it’s great to see you engaging with God in this 60/60

experiment! I can certainly empathize with how hard this can be and how it can seem a little

weird - and that’s all because we are inviting an interruption into our habit of ignoring God

all day. This is a habit that forms over years! We are having to climb uphill! As for prayer, it is

right that this is for such things as confession and supplication, but it’s also about conducting

a relationship. We have been brought back into communion with God through Christ’s work on

our behalf (unmerited grace!) and we are invited into relationship with the Father. So as much

as those other things, prayer is conversation with God. I would encourage you all as you press

on with the 60/60 to see the interuption (cell phone vibration, watch beep, post-it note reminder)

as a call to ‘check in’ with God - just as you would talk with a friend, family member and so on,

so you are conversing with God throughout your day, inviting Him to be a part of it.
